Network Research

August, 2018

The new Ericsson IoT Business Lab in Herzogenrath near Aachen has been in operation for four months now. There, experts from the Stockholm-based networking and telecommunications company explore new possibilities for networking different end devices with each other, and interested business partners from various industries will be able to use the state-of-the-art research facility as a platform for testing mobile radio-supported networking – especially given the new opportunities that will be opened up with the emerging 5G mobile communications standard as well as ongoing trends related to the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 4.0.
