Expansion in Thuringia
The Doka Group, an Austria-based producer and supplier of formwork for the construction sector, will expand the logistics center it built in Apolda (Thuringia) in 2013 to turn it into a European distribution center.
After already investing EUR 14 million in the 11.4-hectare location, the company will now invest an additional EUR 6-8 million for another 2.5 hectares of land as well as construction on it.
The company cited Apolda’s central location in Germany and excellent transportation infrastructure as key factors in its decisions.
