British company Fulfilmentcrowd is establishing its first German subsidiary in the city of Bocholt in North Rhine-Westphalia. The expansion is part of a strategy of internationalization.
The firm specializes in comprehensive e-commerce solutions, and its clients include both start-ups and internationally active mail-order retailers. Services range from storage and shipping to the handling of returns. It also arranges cost-effective overnight deliveries within Germany.
Fulfilmentcrowd will be working with its German partner the Fairpack GmbH. Bocholt was chosen as a location for its proximity to major transportation centers and its access to storage spaces and employees.
Although Germans were initially slow to warm to e-commerce, more and more people here are purchasing items online. Fulfilmentcrowd estimates the growth potential in the sector at more nine percent annually.
