HopLop Indoor Playground
September, 2018
The activity and adventure park chain HopLop has opened its first indoor playground outside of its home country of Finland, where it operates 21 such playgrounds.
The almost 5,000 sqm indoor playground in Pulheim, near Cologne, involved an investment volume of roughly EUR 2 million and employs some 20 people. In addition to featuring a 60-meter-long wavy slide, the longest in Germany, there are climbing walls, bouncy castles, electric cars, trampolines and zones for ball games.
The company expects the playground to attract approximately 100,000 visitors per year – including, of course, many birthday-party guests – and also reportedly plans to open additional locations in Germany.
