The Berlin-based SaaS banking software provider Mambu announced that it has secured EUR 30 million to accelerate its growth and increase its workforce threefold. The funding round, led by the Silicon Valley-based Bessemer Venture Partners, included Acton Capital, CommerzVentures, Point Nine Capital and Runa Capital.
Launched in 2011, Mambu is a leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) banking engine providing modern, cloud-native digital solutions to financial institutions of all sizes, allowing them to respond quickly and agilely to market changes. Brian Feinstein, a partner at Bessemer Venture Partners, praised the award-winning startup as “a game changer in a market that desperately needs dynamic solutions to help them evolve.”
Among the companies that Mambu works with are the digital lending platform Lendico Switzerland, the German smartphone bank N26, the Finnish mobile lender Ferratum and ABM Amro’s new10 platform for small businesses.
