New Joint Project in Leuna

This spring, TOTAL Raffinerie Mitteldeutschland and DOMO Chemicals inaugurated their new joint project for benzene production and extraction in the chemical park in Leuna, Saxony-Anhalt. The EUR 60 million investment involved constructing a new unit at the refinery that will enrich an intermediate product from gasoline production, transport this benzene-cut through a 1.6 km-long pipeline, and feed a DOMO plant for the production of chemical products.
