– Online-retail giant Amazon officially opened its new 13,000 sq.m. distribution center in Raunheim-Mönchhof this spring to make deliveries in the Rhine-Main region. The center, which will create more than 130 jobs, entered into operation in October 2017. It is the third in Hessen, after the two logistics centers in Bad Hersfeld.

– In respond to rising demand for logistics space and properties in eastern Germany, the Germany-based international property developer and manager Goodman has secured additional logistics space in Star Park in Halle (Saale) and is now offering a 35,000 sq.m. site whose size and division makes it ideal for logistics and warehousing, manufacturing or retail. The Star Park Halle offers excellent transport infrastructure, a direct connection to the A14 motorway, and close proximity to Germany’s second-largest cargo airport.
