Berlin got a royal visit in May as Crown Prince Haakon of Norway launched a German version of the Norwegian networking platform The Explorer.
The launch took place as part of the GreenTech Festival in the German capital, where three Norwegian firms were nominated for Green Awards.
The platform aims to match companies and ecological solutions from Norway with foreign investors, in this case from Germany. Nearly 500 companies are registered, and 200 solutions have been tested and published. Fields covered include everything from AI-driven image sensors to promote fish welfare and sustainable aquaculture, advanced reverses osmosis systems for water purification and hybrid cruise ships.
