Robot Arms in Bavaria

We are the robots: Canadian robotics company Kinova opened its first competence center in Germany. The R&D facility is located in the town of Langerringen, some 70 kilometers west of the Bavarian capital Munich.
Kinova makes robot arms to help people with severely restricted or no mobility. Academic and industrial research teams will be able to test the company’s robot technologies on site.
Robotics Business Review named Kinova one of the top innovative and disruptive companies in commercial and industrial robotics for 2019. The company was also ranked the 149th fastest growing company in North America last year.
Kinova citing Langerringen’s proximity not only to Munich, but to Austria and Switzerland as well as a main factor in choosing it as a business location.
