“Secret Escapes” in Germany

The Germans’ legendary love of traveling is good news to innovative companies like London-based Secret Escapes, an online booking portal for luxury hotel stays and trips.

After acquiring two German startups – the mobile hotel booking app Justbook in 2014 and the flash-deal site Travista in 2015 – the members-only company has continued to grow, and recently moved its 150 employees into a new, larger German headquarters in Berlin.

It operates in 21 markets worldwide, of which Germany is the strongest.
