“Startupnight 2018,” Germany’s largest startup trade fair, will be held on September 7 in four locations in Berlin’s Mitte district. During the fair, over 250 international startups will showcase their products, services and ideas to visitors and venture capitalists. The startups primarily come from the fields of mobility, energy, communications, artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of Things, virtual reality, augmented reality and fintech. Before coming to Berlin, though, the trade fair has been on a “road trip,” offering startups from the Munich, Cologne and Aachen regions a chance to compete with their business pitch for a free trip to the Berlin trade fair. The trade fair, now in its sixth year, is sponsored by Deutsche Telekom.
