From Turkey to Rostock
Innova Composites GmbH is relocating its production from Aydin, Turkey to Rostock and opening a production facility in Rostock. The company produces PP (polypropylene) compounds from postindustrial materials for the production of conveyor belts especially for the poultry industry. In the second phase the company plans to produce polyolefin compounds, composites, additive and coatings, including nanofillers, using patented technology for the automotive, construction, marine, packaging and aerospace industries. For this purpose, the company rents 1.200m² at the former production hall of Yamaton at Ölhafen. Furthermore, investments will be made in the machine park, including compounding pelletizing and sheet extrusion molding machines. During the first stage, at least 10 new jobs will be created at the site in Rostock.
