Longway Europe GmbH chooses Schwerin
Longway Europe GmbH belongs to the Suzhou Longway Machinery AG group of companies based in China. The group of companies produces and sells data cabinets and employs over 1,000 people at various production sites worldwide.
In order to serve the European market for data cabinets of all kinds, Longway Europe GmbH has chosen Schwerin, the state capital of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, as the most suitable business location. The proximity to the port of Hamburg was one of the most important factors for the settlement in Schwerin, as well as the fact that Longway Europe GmbH is able to grow at the chosen location in Schwerin.
In September 2019, the company put the new plant in Schwerin into operation. The official opening of the plant is scheduled for the end of 2019. European customers will then be supplied from Schwerin, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
