Denmark robotics company OnRobot has established its first German subsidiary in the town of Soest.
The company, which was formed from a fusion of several start-ups, specializes in robotic systems that allow man and machine to work together. Its products are easy to implement and can be used for a variety of applications.
“Our collaborative end-of-arm tools gives businesses the necessary flexibility for efficient production in the age of highly customized batch size 1 products,” says OnRobot General Manager for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Benelux Björn Milsch.
Germany is the largest market for robotics in Europe and the fifth largest in the world. By the end of the year OnRobot expects to employ at least nine people in Soest. The area is home to many international SMEs – and potential customers for robotics.
